Working to Achieve Homeruns in Relationships
Couples who would start their tenure in their relationships would normally want to explore all opportunities in finding out more about themselves and their compatibility. Relationships are more than just pure dating and companionship. It will come to a point where intimacy and wanting to explore the more daring issues will come into place. By daring, this is of course pointing towards the seduction to the sexual type of interaction where couples in their adventurous years will surely want to discover what would happen next.
Sex was never known to be automatic when people agree to have a relationship. But taking into account the current beliefs and trends that teenagers to young adults have been following, sex has been something that would be a given when people would engage in, totally disregarding the sacredness of virginity and preservation until people would be eventually married.
Pre-marital sex has been considered as something more than sexual intercourse pleasure. People have considered it as something to prove their true love for one another with no promise of reaching the stage of considering the sacrament of holy matrimony. These have been the total changes in the way people perceive love and relationships today. Women who would not give in to a guy’s request for intercourse would immediately be considered a lack of trust and love, something that has been used as a tool for being able to get what they really want, that of which is sexual satisfaction.
The funny thing in relationships is that they have tagged certain moments to a baseball game. First base would be that of being able to kiss on the lips, second base refers to touching the upper body of a girl, third base is the lower body portion where the most preserved part of the body is found for a female and of course homerun is that of being able to engage in intercourse.
For males, the obvious goal is to achieve these things. But hitting a homerun in reality does have consequences and corresponding responsibilities to it. For one, even without marriage, women can get pregnant from intercourse and both should be aware of this possibility. It is something that cannot be disregarded since as everyone has gathered from their usual sex education classes, a sperm may eventually get loose and reach the fertile female egg and lead to pregnancy. These are not theories but rather realities as can be seen from the growing number of young mothers present in the world today.
