Speed your way to seduction
I have just been asked to go to a speed dating night at a local club by a lady friend of mine. At first I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to go or in fact whether I even condoned the idea of going. However, since the initial thought, I have condoned going and have actually decided to give it a go. I mean, how bad can it really be? There are so many negative associations with them these days. People say, “no don’t do that, it’s not very classy” or “oh dear, you don’t do you?” when they really don’t understand what it’s all about or how much fun and pleasing it can be. The friend who asked me to go was telling me of her last visit and how exciting it was and how she benefited from it, and to me it sounds like a great idea. She said, you all sit down male opposite female at numbered tables, and then for 4 minutes you sell yourself and win over the person on the other side of the table, depending obviously on whether you want to get to know them outside of the room. Then all the men go to the next numbered table and sit, and start the whole process over again. At the end of the evening everybody mingles with one another while the ticks are counted up from the lists, and then they are published, showing who wants to meet up with someone who wants to meet up with them. It all sounds a little bit of an effort but apparently, which I shall find out soon enough, it is great fun, not only passing the time, but possibly helping you find someone you really like. Anyway, back to my friend; she actually did find someone that night who wanted to see her and they went out on a date a week after first meeting. I think they are keeping it casual, if you know what I mean! Well, I hope they are keeping it casual because we are going, and I think she intends on meeting other people! The moral of my story is this, try it; you have to try it to love it. If people with the same ambition go to a place where they can meet like minded individuals, what can be the harm? And if they find someone they can seduce and have a relationship with then all the better.
