Falling in Love with a Person You Haven’t Seen
It is typical to find people who you may meet on the net or through text messaging. Pictures and video cameras are a good bonus since you can see what they actually look like. There are people who give in to their senses, to the point they may even fall in love without actually seeing the person or knowing more about them. A risk as it may seem, but people come from various origins. They believe in something that may not be suitable for people who believe that they have found the right opportunity on their approach towards finding true romance.
But trusting is also a game of chance. Not all people who would get our full trust will always be 100% worthy of it. It may come to a point that they are just playing possum to get the trust that people have a hard time giving. Once they are successful, they start to call the shots and make people look like dogs who follow their every command, most of which may be unreasonable for one reason or another. This is the point where a person will start to feel hurt and get affected by periodic absences or unavailability of the person. This is largely due to the fact that their priorities in giving their attention have severely changed.
The worst thing is to accept that a person has played with you, especially when you have given in to their desires and have shown them that you have fallen for them. Some people may be flattered and some would have that wide evil grin. Of the two, the latter is the most painful experience a person can ever have. Without taking into account the actual feelings of a person, regardless if they have seen each other personally or not, are a big blow to their ego. This is the start of a depression stage where healing wounds would take time. The worst part of it is that they are only fictional at this point and yet a person would get hurt already.
While this would not cover all stories stemming from imaginary meetings, it is something that is evident for people who play around. Some people take people seriously, regardless where they meet. The problem only lies on how to find the right person who would appreciate the efforts since the world is a big place where people may need time to find their actual partner.
